Invocation

I love to invoke the muses, the proper Pagan practice. The joyful noise of the Canadian Brass playing the Vespers of the Blessed Virgin or Rod Stewart singing Up on the Roof, either one can invoke Terpsichore, the muse of Music. She’ll then ramp up your event with energy, grace, and lots of class. The invocation brings the good juju to the stage or altar.

I’m listening to the music and dance of thunder. Lightning! What a ceremony,

The invoking of the muse from the clouds, the invocation of God, the muse most high, my favorite part of the service.

Booming frankincense brings in a muse quicker than you can say Jack Robinson. It hums in four part harmony, low and slow. It throbs out the base notes and perfumes in smoky wisps. Its long fingers curl. The joy of the wonderful whiff carried on the smoldering air, just like Canterbury Cathedral.

The invocation is the magic part of the service. It’s the time where the immortals arrive with their energy. The muses latch on when their senses are honored with  joyful noise, and they bless you with inspiration. Smile.

Ah, music and nature tend to be my main muses. Cheers, Devonne!
