Here we go again with the sad eyes. Big, bottomless, sad eyes. So what if they’re not in the picture. You see them anyway. Everybody’s got them, that’s what I remember first about the picture, the eyes and the blood on the young girl.
Parading hearts, broken and bleeding for everyone to see is for young people. Women my age don’t walk around with strapless dresses showing their bare backs. There are too many imperfections that bleed over into ugly, round shoulders, the dowagers hump, the bat wings, age spots, moles. A kind karmic bullet hole in the back would certainly be quicker and much prettier.
The best hex there is: “May you have the face you deserve.”
Karma isn’t kind now is it?
Beating hearts still pump blood red, strong with the will to live. Botox won’t help that. It doesn’t do much for Karen. Botox is what you get when you have the will to live, the desire be young and beautiful, and have money, like Karen. But botox can go awry in ways nature thinks are funny. You can’t be a martyr for a bad botox job. It’s just not a thing.
